Since I was home for a multitude of wedding reasons this weekend, between two west coast meetings, I met the usual MidAtlantic gamer suspects at the Maryland Renn Faire today. Aside from a narrow window of avoiding a horrible horrible accident on 50 outside Bowie, it was a suspiciously good drive on the Beltway.
DC driving skills... I still got em.
I had a fantastic time at Faire, as expected. Balls hot today, but a constant stream of cold-food grazing made it better. I wore my assassin whites, and got politely asked for 3 random pictures, asked an Ezio, an Altaïr, and a Templar for theirs, was disgruntled next to a Templar statue, had a declaration of love from two passers by (which didn't strike me as creepy, so that's ok), and best of the day, someone I never actually saw yelled "assassino" in my vicinity.
A solid day of being an assassin at Faire.
It mostly made up for flying out of Seattle, whites in my bag, the day before PAX started.
I saw the footage from the Dragon Age Inquisition panel, and it was PRETTY. Assume I'll be playing a lady saarebas in the Mage series of save games. Quanri PC are confirmed!!!
