Goal
My goal is to finish my novel before I restart school on August the 26th. That's maybe... 25,000 more words in the next month and a half. I really need to finish! Really! I've edited the first part a bit. Every 10 pages I turn in to my critique group I edit, and then I will have to go back and consider all their suggustions and make changes. But I really need to finish it! If I can write 50,000 words in a month, then I can write 25,000 in a month and a half, right? So. That's what I'm going to do. I love writing, but lately all these classes and the reading and writing that I need to do has really burned me out. I did write a great short story for my creative writing class that I'd like to submit to a magazine somewhere. It's a fantasy story, and the class really seemed to like it. It's slightly on the seductive side so it has to be for the appropriate audience. (It's not sex, it's just sexy) Any suggestions? I'm going to set aside a time to write each day because that's the only way this is going to get done. Wish me luck!
