Am I grumpy? I dunno...

First off; note to self. Go to doc. Talk to doc about one week of being a bitch every month before I start that Monthly Girl Bleeding Thing. It might be a semi telling warning, but mostly, it just helps that 'I don't like people, get the fuck off me' feeling I get sometimes. And I really hate that. Haaaaaate. HHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE. Even more than the people I hate when I'm under the control of my hormones.

Also, I love animals. Support ASPCA. Would like to dump PETA members into the nearest volcano and bitch slap Greenpeace into the next millenia. I really HATE 'Whale Wars'. Yes, I support stopping whaling, but I'll be honest, I think the crew of the Sea Sheppard are the biggest batch of self-important, idiotic, terroristic (yes, yes I do), dumbfucks this side of whatever you want to be this side of. And that's just the impression I get from seeing the commercials. I refuse to watch the show. They aren't helping anything except proving just how dumb, narrow minded, self righteous and downright harmful to their own cause a lot of environmentalists and animal lovers can be. I really wish Animal Planet had not started showing it.

And if PETA doesn't stop sending me shock pictures of animals in cages from China, I'm going to find their distribution center and beat them with their own fliers. Yes, I know how horrible it can be 'over there' for animals. But guess what? Same thing happens here, too. How about dropping the shock jock bullshit, and actually start working towards passing laws in this country and supporting the people here that are striving to make the country better for our own animals.

Oh, and, um, stop telling people you 'save' animals, when saving them is by euthing 90% of the perfectly healthy ones you get and then sticking them in your giant freezer in, where was it? Virginia? Yeah, great job there. Mind you ASPCA ends up euthing a good 60%-70% of the pets they get in as well--but at least they own up to it (and use it to stress why things like spuetering your pets is a Really Good Idea), and try everything in their power to get animals well and adopted out before having to make the decision.

...ok, I think I'm done for now. Not quite sure what set me off on that tangent (can't blame the monthly--just finished it, so...). But, yeah. I guess this is one way of saying 'I support a lot of things, but not when they're represented by rabid, self importent, attention seeking nutjobs'.

I need to make a cheerful post sometime soon.

aspca, argh, peta, pets
