My Birthday Present
Since I'm getting back out into the real world and there have been a number of times in the past couple weeks where communication between Ian and various members of the human race was necessary, but no method was conveniently at hand, I have made a decision: For my birthday, I'm getting myself a cellphone - I know, it's about darn time, right?? Now you guys all know that I don't do stuff like this spontaneously, and have in fact been toying with the idea for a few months now, but the insaneness of the last week has hardened my resolve. I've looked into all the big providers (Bell, Telus, Rogers, Virgin, Verizon) and now I'm looking for testimonials. Let me hear all your joy and horror stories of mobile providers and cast your vote for what I should do - for reference,I'm looking for a pre-paid service, as I really don't want a contract and probably won't be using it all that much. I don't care that much about the actual phone itself (I really just want to be sure to get a good plan with good service), but feel free to try to sell me on fancy phones too, if you want :). I'm looking to wrap this all up in the next week or so, so be quick, and watch for a webpoll appearing in the near future :)
