My USC Election

Feb 14, 2005 15:43

You all know that I’m one for freedom of speech, especially at this time of democracy during our USC presidential election but I have a public service announcement for all you campaigners:

While I do appreciate being informed on all the candidates, it has been getting fairly ridiculous as of late; For example: in the past three days I have received six emails touting the benefits one particular candidate, whom, I might add I’m already planning on voting for, three of which arrived within four hours today and were in fact the exact same email, word for word. I agree with s gentleman’s platform and I know everybody’s eager to campaign for him and get him elected, however for successful campaigning in the future it might not be a bad idea to pay attention to who was on the receiver’s list before forward in the same thing to the same persons again. There is a fine line between effective campaign and being very very, very annoying , be careful you kids don’t cross it - This is exactly why many people hate elections and don’t bother to vote.

That’s all for now,

-à I.
