The sun is shining! The sky still looks like a winter sky... but the sun is shining!
I woke up this morning, and my hair was down. I went to bed with it in a braid, which is basically what I've been doing for the last week or so. It was usually wet... so I just figured I'd braid it to keep the wet tendrils out of my face while I slept... but this morning it was down, must've fell out of the braid last night while I was sleeping. How's that for some good old fashioned Utena symbolism?
That said, I was still feeling very down when I woke up this morning. In fact... I did cry a little upon waking... but just a little!
It's so weird looking over at my bed... the only slide that's even remotely crumpled and slept in is mine (never mind that I still have a 'side' when I'm the only one sleeping in the bed...). I don't know, it just looks weird.
See? I barely move when I sleep alone. I really do have to wonder why that is.
Anyway, have to get into the shower, and get moving. Have a lot to get done today... and if I sit here any longer, I'm going to get stuck in the inactive mindset... and then I'll just sit here staring at things all day. Have to jump on the opportunity while the opportunity is still present.
