Accepted!
I received my acceptance letter to the University of Kansas School of Nursing last night, so it's finally official. I'm really excited, but it is bittersweet as it will mean moving away from my love for 2 years while we are both finishing school. I'm not worried about things not working out, because I believe we are stronger than a 30 minute drive; but I've become quite accustomed to falling asleep next to him every night. And that will take some getting used to.
The kids are starting to take their toll on me. Katie is getting pretty bad about sleeping (i.e. taking 2 hours to fall asleep for a nap, not taking a nap at all, staying up to 11 pm or later), but other than that she's been pretty good. She keeps calling me "mommy"...it's really cute, but serious bad news. Jack is teething hardcore. He'll be 1 in about a week and he only has his two lower teeth...the others seem to be coming in all at once. Teething = very cranky Jack. Beau (their dog) just got his fur buzzed, he feels really good.
I'm going to be going to Oklahoma City for the Big XII Tournament, possibly to Chicago and possibly to St. Louis. Charlette told me that if we (and by we, I mean KU) make it to the Final Four, they'll put the kids in day care Mon-Fri (instead of Tues-Thurs) for that week and give me $1,000. March should be a very interesting month for me.
After Craig gets off work, we'll be driving down to Tulsa/Oklahoma City. I'm going to meet one of his best friends, Jessica, as well as possibly a few of his friends from OCU. I'll get to see his old campus and where he lived. I'll be posting a new profile picture to show everyone what else I'm going to be doing there. Well, I've been procrastinating getting dressed and ready to go to OKC for far too long.
