My classes should be interesting this semester.
SOC 220: Sociology of Families- The GTA seems to be down-to-earth and pretty awesome. The material should be fascinating. We are going to cover some great topics and I'm quite interested in learning about them from an academic standpoint.
BIOL 246: Human Physiology- I'm stoked! Learning about the human body, enough said. :)
PHIL 160: Intro to Ethics- I can't tell if this is going to be a great class or hell. The instructor is Ethiopian. I can handle the accent, but I don't know if I can handle the jumping around from one topic to another without segways and a serious lack of eye contact with anything but the floor. I understand that he has to translate everything in his head, but it is very difficult to follow his train of thought. That being said, he does have a sense of humor and the material should be interesting as well.
REL 106: Living Religions of the East- Dr. Minor=VERY strict attendance policy, but the material is quite promising. The GTA (who runs the discussion sections) will be fabulous. Great sense of humor, not nearly as strict as Dr. Minor and is addicted to Project Runway. He doesn't hide his personality and, as far as classes are concerned, this will surely be the highlight of the week.
In other news, my Internet isn't as reliable as I would like. I have no idea why it stops working and then randomly starts working again. As a result, my entries, comments and responses may be more sporatic than past semesters. Alrighty, I'm out!
