(no subject)
In the past week I have driven 6 cars: my car, my mom's (now Adam's) Mitsubishi Diamante, my sister's Mitsubishi Eclipse, Charlette's Chevy Equinox, Tom's Cadillac Escalade and my mom's Lexus. Crazy!!
My mom is in Rome, I hope she's having a good time.
Meg is staying with me for a few days. This evening, Meg and Hunter had a stand-off. I was sitting in the living room, Meg was in my room and Hunter was crouched in Crystal's doorway. Meg wanted to come to me, but couldn't get the balls to walk past Hunter. She wouldn't come out of my room until Hunter got bored and left. It was pretty amusing.
I should really be packing, but I just can't get into it.
Only one of my speakers is working, I don't know what happened while I was in Vegas, but now it won't work. I don't know what to do about that.
I'm frustrated with the Lawrence Habitat for Humanity. I need to get my hours in and no one will answer the phone (or return messages).
Tonight is my last Saturday at this apartment. :(
Part of me is excited to move into my own apartment by myself. The other part of me isn't...moving into that apartment means 1- no more Katie in Kansas and 2- no more living with Crystal. We made really good roommates and I'm gonna miss that.
I suppose this is all a part of growing up and moving on. Friends graduating from college and moving away for real jobs and others gradually moving away and REALLY starting their lives. We're not kids anymore...and the distant future isn't as distant anymore.
