My friend Jamie came up to visit me last weekend. It was good to see her again. I took her around Lawrence and we caught up on the past few months of our lives. I've stopped thinking of her as a friend, she's the older sister I never had.
Does anyone else sometimes wish that they could have had an older sibling (or if you are the youngest, a younger one)? I love being the oldest, but there are times that it would have been nice.
Sara came back home from FBLA Nationals in Nashville. She wasn't in the top 10, but I think she had a good time while she was there.
4th of July, oh what a great excuse to lay out at the pool and/or lake and drink all day. Our view of the fireworks sucked, but it was still a good day.
Highlights of this weekend should be dinner and a midnight showing of 'Pirates' and Paint, Glaze and Fire.
And then Monday, we're off to Vegas! They even had T-shirts made!
