Ruth says that there's a great private boat to get to and from the island -- might want to catch it on the way back if you're there already -- that's faster, funner and cheaper than the regular ferry.

Gunther's Dive Shop, all the way outside town at the end of the island (east end?), and ask about the speed boat that goes across to the mainland. They dock there.

And congrats! Sounds like fun!
