guess who got a raise of $1.42 per hour?
me!!
more money. more reason to move out.
1. nobody respects my desire to sleep in past 10 a.m. on Sundays because they (my sister Carmen and my aunt) want to make breakfast while yelling at each other at the top of their lungs. It wouldn't be a problem if they would just whisper or talk in a quiet voice. The pots and pans banging are also annoying.
2. my cat Susie starts to meow uncontrollably every morning on the weekends and wreaks havoc all across my room. I can't let her out because she then wreaks havoc in the dining room and everywhere else. Also, her litter box is in my room. I've suggested letting her live in the garage with the other cat, but Susie is so crazy, she'll probably find a way to escape.
3. I get flak for staying out sometimes and it's starting to get really old. It's annoying when I come in and all the lights are out and I'm tripping over everything to get to my room. The doors are locked in an ever-changing pattern (sometimes it's just the first door, sometimes it's both but only one has the top lock done).
4. my sister Carmen stays over every weekend with the kids. Having her here is very exhausting and that's my time to rest!!
5. I hate having to say goodbye to Danny every day.
6. I can't stand my aunt sometimes. Or my mom, for that matter.
so, they're very selfish reasons. very typical for someone my age. I want to go back to the way things were in Berkeley. I was free to roam, call all the shots and pay my own bills. I was the queen of my own space.
I want my own space. Plus, some for Danny.
end rant.
