[Haru has been watching him from her tree, not really fazed by his voice whatsoever. Rather, she is impressed that he chased the pack of wolves snapping at her ankles away.]

[Gin clanced through the trees, squinting in an attempt to see who it was. He then recognized the voice.]

Yeah. Oh, hey kid. Was coming to get you, and these things kind of got me sidetracked. How are you holding up?

Ah. They...made a tower and bit Haru's ankle.

[Gin's expression twisted into an irritated pout.]

Geez, how the Hell do I do that? I can try jumping from here and break my balls, or I can climb down, and then climb up your tree, and come down again.

[He pauses.]

My balls are too important. I'll go for the second thing.

[Gin proceeds to climb the tree, making a barfing face as he realizes how far off the ground he really is.]

Oi, Gintoki, it's okay, it's just like those bungee jumping reality shows you used to watch except not as scary...

Ugh. Please don't distract me You're annoyingly loud.

[Gin's uneasiness seems to settle more as he comes closer to the ground. When he finally reaches it, he reluctantly crosses over to the other tree, and proceeds to climb up it.]

[Haru edges herself to the trunk to pull herself up and then latch on to his back, wrapping her arms and legs about him tight. On looking down, she blanched.]

G-Gin-san, Haru doesn't want to be tossed salad, are you sure you can do this...? H-Haru has faith and all, b-but...
