5STARS!!!!
If we hear about doctors and medicine, we always say that their purpose is to cure the sick and save the living. But in this Japanese series, "Voice", I've learned one branch of medicine that saves those who have died.
The 11-episode series is all about 5 medical students who chose to study forensic medicine. Forensics as it was showed here is not the typical CSI forensics that we see on TV that aims to bring justice and to see who needs to be punished. In "Voice", they portrayed the lighter side of death. They see forensics as a tool to HEAR the voices of the dead, their final words, and to bring peace to those that were left behind.
All the episodes are tear-shedders. It taught me several lessons in life about love, friendship, family and sacrifice. Definitely not your typical drama that always showed love between couples.
I also like the main character's attitude of being inquisitive. Always asking about this and that. His questions seems to be nonsense but it's actually true.
"Why do people turn off their alarm clocks and get back to sleep? Is it that hard to wake up? Then why wake up twice?"
"Usually parents embrace their children.. But why on some food (like chicken noodles with egg), the egg embraces the chicken?"
I can't explain how I love this series. It does not only entertain but it also educates its viewers. I hope you could also experience what I felt ^_^
