The CA Supreme Count upheld Prop 8 as a constitutional amendment rather than a revision 6 to 1 today. The 18,000 same-sex marriages entered into during the period it was legal have been upheld as

Because of the mental process I've been in over more personal matters in the last few days, I so not have a reaction beyond "disappointed" at this time. I still have to read the decision, have read only limited news coverage, and really have no more energy today for outrage. I might even go to sleep before sunrise for the first time in 2 weeks.
