This makes me sick...
As much as I would rather curl up and pretend this shit isn't happening to women in the Armed Forces, it is. This is fucking America, and women who are serving their country have a right to feel safe in their own beds.
As a rape survivor, I feel a duty to share the stories of assault and harassment so people cannot pretend it doesn't happen and refuse to talk about it. My own experience is still pretty close to the surface. That I posted a different article 2 years ago is not enough for my conscience to leave me alone.
