Currently I am trying to bring this old journal back to life, yet I am not quite sure what to post here. (Suggestions, anyone? I wouldn't mind some advice ^.~)
Most of the stuff I am interested in is fanfiction- or fandomrelated, so it might become a very fangirlish blog. I have also worked about such themes as fanfiction in general and slash in an academic way and might post some of that stuff here, too. Aside from its contents my posts are going to be either written in German or English. I'd like to keep the majority in English though.
My fandoms include almost everything from anime and manga, to books, comics, movies, television shows and videogames. I love Supernatural and BBC's Merlin. I have played Dragon Age:Origins and Dragon Age II far too many times and I have spent weeks obsessing over Naruto-characters. Right now I am in love with the crossover-pairing Tony Stark/Bruce Wayne. Since Batman has always been my favourite DC-hero and Tony Stark is the hottest thing Stan Lee has ever delivered to Marvel, it is no surprise that they are a perfect match in my eyes. Oh, billionaire playboys ♥
I tend to ship a lot of unusual pairings, at least it always seems to me that way, when I look around for fanfiction and find none. I am also very good at stumbling across really bad fanfics. There will be posts dedicated to those unpleasant experiences as well, I think.
Basically, I'd like to spent more time on writing, for it's been way too long since I had last done anything that wasn't part of my work for university. I also want to share some of my thoughts on fandom and of course on other themes as well, and it would be wonderful to get to know other people who have similar interests and/or show me new perspectives.
