Rehabssssss
Some notes, since I haven't updated in forevs.
1. The stitches are all gone! Yay. They have little strips of medical something or another over the long gash right now, and apparently those will just eventually fall off and my cut will be miraculously sealed or something. Also I can shower with them! yesssss I love modern medicine. Getting those last stitches out was pretty funny though. It didn't hurt at all but I still lay there with my eyes covered, making small sad noises. Plus the lady who was removing them goes "oh, sorry, that one is stuck in your skin a little" and I was all "ewwww!" and she laughed at me. Good times at the surgeon's! Who, incidentally, continues to laugh at me and my impatience. And make fun of me for being a sissy. He's the greatest surgeon ever!
2. Physical therapy has started getting painful and exhausting. I am solidly on one crutch now due to tiredness and soreness of leg. I am 4 degrees behind schedule, which means I have to work extra hard, and apparently have a lot of swelling, too. Of course, being the beacon of light and comfort that he is, My Surgeon tells me I'll be swollen for 6-8 weeks total. Awesome, that makes me SO happy. At least my muscle control/strength is more than on schedule, and my extension is too. But I do cry for the majority of my exercises, because everything feels so wrong in my knee.
Sigh. I miss normal leg-ness.
