First update in 27 weeks!
Well, wedding planning is the single most infuriating thing a person will ever go through. I never knew why people would want to elope… I GET IT NOW!
First of all, it fucking sucks to get married to someone who has such a large goddamn family! Matt’s side of the family accounts for HALF of our entire wedding. My parent’s side is a 1/4th and my side is a 1/4th. We have 220 people (ish) and seriously, like 100(+) of them are Matt’s family alone! Then my parent’s side MAY… MAY be 50 people. And that’s pushing it! The rest are my and Matt’s friends. I always knew weddings were expensive… but I never knew how expensive! I’m trying to put together a nice wedding for 220 people… for 10k… its nearly fucking impossible!
I was first thinking tent wedding… but unfortunately, that appears to be MORE expensive, than an actual reception hall! To rent a tent, plus tables, chairs, and all that crap, its close to 5k… Then we need catering, a photographer, centerpieces, Dress, Ceremony site, someone to actually marry us, and all kindsa crap! The reception hall I want to get married in, is unfortunately, closer to 20k, so that’s out of the question. So I’m at a loss!
The worst part of all of this is I am set on a certain photographer. Her basic package is like $3600. Unless I can pull that out of my ass, I’m going to have to cut a bunch of stuff out. Which sucks.
Now for the worst part of it all…. We cannot for the life of is, decide where to go on our honeymoon. We know we want to go ALL out on our honeymoon. We’re definitely going to leave the continental US lol. We both want to go to Europe… but I think we’ve decided its just going to be too cold. I mean our wedding is in the end of October. So we would be there the end of October beginning of November… I mean it would be COLD. It really sucks. So now I’m thinking somewhere tropical like the Caribbean. I really want to go to BoraBora, but yea… that like 5k for 5 days… that’s a lot of money… especially since it doesn’t include airfare or 4 nights worth of food. (I guess they are trying to remedy that by giving you a 50 min massage included in the package. So now Im completely lost on where we should go.
Also, I got a new job today ( I am not saying where.. Im sure some of you will figure it out soon enough lol.) so Matt and I are back on the house hunt. We found one in Colerain that looks promising, assuming it doesn’t go sale pending before we get to see it. So fingers crossed there. Then we can start having our engagement party/’s and bridal showers and crap :o) I do love getting presents :o)

Ewan Mcgregor is so hott when he sings that it hurts and Matt likes to watch Moulin Rouge when I’m PMSING… and it always makes me cry. I mean that’s like forcing a pregnant woman to watch The Notebook. Its just an awful idea!
We join a gym in like 2 weeks (when I get my first check.) So we can be hott on our Honeymoon! Yayayayayay!
