First weekend of homework and what am I doing?
Daniella called because she brought me candy from Hersey Park! Since we hadn't seen each other in Eight Whole Days, I drove over to her house. Upon arrival, we went through her elementary school year-book and old valentines. Then she shyly, slyly requested that I aid her in fixing up her myspace profile.
She said, "I got a 126 views on my account. I gotta keep it looking pimp."
The task took us hours. She's had a myspace profile for a month or so now. Today she wanted a proper background, and a catchy bio. FINDING the background took us an hour, its a sepia tone photo manipulation of a girl under a tree holding a doll with splattery edges. CODING for the background and text colors took us two hours. Thank you Ed for you 'hmm'ing and your over all calming effect. We still don't know what happened to her scroll bar.
The bio juiced out all of my creative energies. After deleting the paragraphs of silliness it came down to: "Fun and flirty, oh wait this isn't a dating profile."
Since my name is fairly asexual/male the top of her interests list is now "hanging out with Alex" because, "People will assume you're a guy!"
So I hereby declare, from this day forth, my name is no longer Alex it is Alexandra. Especially since my dearest love of the day, Patrick, only knows me by Alexandra.
