This chapter was so unusually intense. o.O; And not because I'd been waiting for it, you know?
At first I was delighted that, yes, they were finally having sex. Sakura was finally getting taken care of for once and by the best person to be doing it for her...
And I of course hadn't seen where the chapter was going before it went.
When you let it be known that Kakashi was the examiner, my jaw literally dropped. XD "Holy shit," I thought. "What's the meaning of this? What's the score here?!"
And then we saw the foreshadowing through Hinata's eyes and I just continued reading, becoming even more rapt in this wonderful twist. Soon Sakura is storming out of the building and I'm wide-eyed going, "OH MY GOD HE DID NOT JUST---!"
LOL. I was so wrapped up in what was happening, even MY heart was beating fast! /laughs/
His apology and her evolved sadness-- I'm really feeling for her. I mean, she was coming off melancholy before, but when she spoke with Naruto, then Kakashi... and she started crying again on his chest... T.T I just know it! Something bad is gonna happen. Oh, sweet, sweet taste of angst.
The forbidden angle, the possible ruined careers, the secrecy-- not an angle I haven't seen before; but I simply *know* that you will take the idea and make it your own in a way only you can do. The possibilities honestly leave me anxious for more. Literally, anxious to see what's going to happen.
That doesn't happen often with stories, you know. It seems like only a couple authors can grab me by my proverbial balls and lead me down that path. ^_^ It's exciting!
