Where have J2 been on my journal lately? I am totes behind in my squeeing!

So besides SPN, I've been doing a spot of J2 viewing lately. And have been intending for ages to do a post full of reviews, and more importantly; pretty pics, following my viewing!

So, without further ado.

Lol I think we have opposing preferences when it comes to Rory's boyfriends then! I liked Dean, but didn't like Jess (who I thought was arrogent and immature). But then I suppose it wasn't that clear cut - I generally liked Dean but thought he acted stupidly getting married when he was in love with Rory, and then sleeping with her once married. And whilst I mainly didn't like Jess, I did like older!Jess. I liked it when he got back in touch with Rory after she'd dropped out of Yale and talked some sense into her. I liked that he managed to get himself together and get a job and write a book, despite being a troubled youth. I also found him funny at times...

What did you think of Logan? I had mixed feelings towards him really. Didn't like him to begin with, but he grew on me a bit, but never totally. Luke was the only male character who I liked throughout the show.

Anyhow, GG aside, I agree regarding young!Jensen. I find old pictures of him pretty awful. His poses, his clothes, and those big lips and floppy hair just made him look too young and effeminate. However, when adopting a more self-assured role (and he is very self-assured in Blonde) he stops coming over as effeminate, and comes over as rather sexy instead...

Though Jensen is totally at his best when playing Dean. The combination of Dean's masculine character, voice and clothes, with his big eyes and lips, just works really well.

And to be fair, I didn't give Smallville much of a chance...

Yes I heard Jensen was in Dawson's Creek. I used to watch the show back when it was first on yrs back, so probably saw him in it, though of course wouldn't have thought: 'my, that's Jensen Ackles!' as I hadn't heard of him back then. I'd like to see the eps with him in now though.

I like it that we are being such fangirls to check out our love's former works :-)
