It's my theory that all the great thinkers of the world came up with their ideas when they were completely exhausted. That's when everyone philosophizes... or gets silly. Metaphors just pop out of nowhere at 3 in the morning, anyway. So the middle of the night is a great time to think about the world because the crap you come up with might actually be insightful (if only due to sleep deprivation). Sadly, here I am talking about late-night philosophy... at 4 in the morning. Oh, the irony.
You know, I'm still a bit confused as to the purpose of an online journal. I mean, sure, I like typing better than writing, but... aren't journals supposed to be private? Maybe people use them to update their friends about their life or something. Or they use it as a thought forum, like me. Yeah, don't expect a huge amount of "here's how my day was" from me. No point in that, all the people who would care would probably be present at the time. So this is sort of a sounding board for all the thoughts in my brain which I wouldn't say out loud (because nobody likes a monologue). Y'know, thinking of it like that, this thing is actually pretty useful. I don't feel as bad about being trendy now.
I should be sleeping anyway.
