Happy Halloween

CBS radio announces that glistening, black-eyed Martians have landed at Grover's Mill, New Jersey. Luckily for the extraterrestrials, the news is announced during a Mercury Theatre program and later discounted as a work of fiction. Needless to say, the event causes widespread panic before the government manages to clamp a lid on it.

I missed Halloween terribly while I was in Europe...yes, there were costume parties and much dressing up, but the 31st of October is really super special in this country. I hate to admit it, but the yoo ess excels at Halloween. I mean, where else can you find a zombie walk?

Which is why I'll be trick or treating with the Bwah and his Mom. Well, ok, we'll be taking the Bwah around, but you may be sure I'm gonna dress up. She and he have been adding fake flowers every night to the fake grave their neighbors have in the front yard. I can hardly wait to hear what the neighbors think. And then some kind of going out in a city, on a weekend. I'm kinda looking forward to that too.

I think I'm not such an avid out-goer as I used to be. Maybe I'm getting old. Don't care, though.

Gas is $1.71 in someplace in Georgia called Eatonton. Locally, it's about $2.25. Beats 5 bux. I'm still gonna do a hydrogen conversion, though. Oil companies shouldn't be "surprised" at their 3rd qtr profits. Assholes.

How about cricket fighting? I had no idea such a thing existed.

If you like cats, and especially LOLcats, there was a cool exhibit about LOLcat inspired artwork. Here's the video recap. Lots of cool art there.

Yay, it's Halloween! I need to get ready for my weekend, and get ready for work. I'm gonna wear my teddy bear head to work today (I'm off on Fridays). I'm pretty sure I can wear a headset under there.

Here, ghosties to kick off the weekend. Boo!, y'all!

halloween!
