First, a couple cool things I found recently:

Political Wigs

For those of you that can afford to get across the water, I give you Barthelona.

I deplore myspace pages.

Also, what the hell is it with the Bush government and hurricanes? For fuck sake, it took the asshat 4 days to get to Texas. Normally we can't get him off the ranch. Fiddle dee dee, Dubya. Has anyone mentioned that Wall street is melting down? Or, wait...adjustments, did you say? Fiddle dee dee, indeed.

So much has happened to my body, my emotions, in the past...I guess it's been 3 weeks or so. The pathology report was long. It was the right thing to do, though. EVERYTHING has been exhausting. It took me 2 days to unload my dishwasher. On the other hand, it was only my second or third day without the Lady here to take care of me. Props and big shouts and all hails to her for her extraordinary good care of me while I recovered. While I continue to recover. She'll be here this weekend, but it'll be with less helping me and more...relaxing.

For example, I started this entry a little over an hour ago. Just after I discovered a website with someone whose grandfather is the brother of my great-grandfather. There's an email, the post was made in 2002. Should I send them an email anyway? I think I will, but tomorrow. Or so. It's family history that I never knew, from over a hundred years ago. Not really sure how to describe the feeling.

Right now it's really hard for me to sit down and concentrate on much. I've found internet to be especially draining. Today is the first day since I last posted that I've been online (off and on all day, thanks). It may be another couple days before I sign back in. Fries my brain a little.

It is good to have cats. Five is especially skilled at making me take it easy. Helps the incision, which is being silly, but not in a good way.

Oh - big THANK YOU! to rubberella for the delivery. I still have some in my freezer. Don't let your meat loaf.

I really must go to bed now. It's nearly 3 ayem.

'Nite.

EDIT: I sent an email to that distant relative I just found. Let's see if she has the same email address from 2002.
