Dance around the Maypole!
Even though my finals aren't over yet, I am still alive. Yay! I have my one and only final in a few hours, but then I have to finish my IRB stuff and my last term paper for my Girl Culture, Media and Japan class on media representations of girls and text messaging in Japan and then I can at last say Hello to summer! :) I can't wait! ^o^ There are so many fun things to look forward to like camping, celebrating Katie's graduation, Davidson graduation, painting, Gene and my road trip to Austin and his subsequent visit, my birthday, Jillian's wedding, going to New York (and seeing Wicked again, not to mention going behind the scenes!! ZOMGexcited! *^0^*), my first opera in forever, going to Japan for friends and research (just booked the tickets today officially!), concerts like crazy, Everly's college search road trip, gardening, and some beach time. Yep, definitely lots to look forward to so I just wish summer would hurry up and get here!
In other news, Happy 3 monthiversary to Gene and I! Hard to believe it has been that long and yet it seems like we have been together for forever. *^-^* He will be making his big decision today about whether he will be going to med school or pursuing a bio-stats PhD. This decision will also determine if he will be as close as UNC or as far away as Cleveland or Toledo (though I think Toledo is now out of the running). ***This just in! He's decided, and he's off to med school in Cleveland! *** Wow. Yay for Gene!!!, even if it means we will be 8 hours apart. Guess that means I'll be adding attend white coat ceremony to that list of things I'll be doing this summer. :)
Well, I just wanted to check in and say hey with a small update, especially since it is now May. Really, where has time gone? Besides, I got to get back to the studying. :P Catch you all soon! Hugs and snuggle bugs!
P.S. I found fresh daikon at the grocery store the other day!!! *Giddy*
