what is this? wow, it looks like an update.

I haven't been diligent lately with updating. It just seems that here lately I haven't had much to say. I suppose I might, just really haven't felt like writing it down.
My poor Mustang has been out of commision for 4 weeks now. It all started before school started. I was loosing radiator fluid and couldn't figure out where the leak was. So wouldn't you know that after replacing the radiator (which was in really bad shape) and all the hoses and thermostat. I finally find the damn leak. It was coming out of a drain hole in the firewall. Come to find out my heater core needs to be replaced. And for those of you who don't know what I am talking about I apologize. Replacement of the heater core requires an extensive and involved process. . . i.e. removal of the dash board. Which took 8 hours to do. So now my car is sitting in the back yard with no insides just waiting to be finished. It has been too hot lately to work on it and/or raining. So I have been driving Doug's Jag for the past 4 weeks and I want my car back! The Jag is nice and all but I am tired of it. I would drive my van, but the throttle body is rusted so it sticks wide ass open. Gah, I hate cars sometimes. They are so expensive to keep up.

My step-son's Bronco had a tire that was low and I told him for days that he needed to put air in it or it was going to go flat on him and he would have to replace it. The tires on his Bronco are 150 dollar tires, and you know you can't just replace just one. :) Well guess what, he didn't listen. The tire popped on his way to work, so I went to get him and take him to work. I was good, I didn't tell him "I told you so." He got lucky though, Doug called a tire store and they just happened to have tires that would fit his truck a whole set for $100 a tire. Some guy had them on his truck and drove it home and wrecked. So the tires didn't have that many miles on them. Only about 30. when will kids learn that parents know what they are talking about?

All typed out now.
Later.
