Goodness, this week has been crazy busy. But the good kind of crazy, I think, and SPN came back. YAY!! Oh how I have missed Sam and Dean's faaaces.

Here's one that's AU-ish, fairly recent, and you might have already read it (if androgynous characters don't throw you off). Silk by minchout. Such a pretty pretty picture she paints. I love Sam here, and Dean too, with his unshakeable adoration for his brother. Bonus artwork by the incomparable petite_madame here!
Now for a few AU's.
Kant's Dove by tryfanstone. Set in a dystopian future, where Sam is an inquisitor and Dean wants to take the system down. Smart, well-written and sexy as hell. Also by the same author, standing on the edge of nothing. Set in the 1920's, with such a spot-on feel for the era. Brilliant artwork and soundtrack to boot.
Supercross by lazy_daze. Sam and Dean and stunt bikes! The tension, the stunts, the supporting characters, the everything!
Until Crow Knows Your Name by drvsilla. Dru has such a knack for diving into the western aesthetic, and the language here...stunning.
Okay. Okay. I can't not rec this one, but I'm also obligated to tell you that it wrecked me. It still wrecks me, lo these many years later. I can also tell you that the wrecking is worth it. It's based on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, so you roughly know what to expect out of the ending. On the Dodge, by candle_beck.
Can I also rec a reccer? mementis did this wonderful rec-a-day project last year, multi-fandom, mostly slashy, and I loved the well thought out way she wrote about the writing (if that makes sense).
