oh this story is just too great you guys =)
well first off, yay for the weekend! i'm so excited that its friday even though i know that i'm going to be doing alot of this work this weekend to catch up. its call good cuz there is going to be a good mix of work and play. tonite is the crazy 80's party at the union. that just sounds too cool. i mean can u imagine a party at the union??? the union just has such a formal vibe. so we are going to drop it and back it up tonite 80's style. and then there's the plan II party tomorrow. i think that is going to have a 90's theme. so many themed parties these days... i dont know if i'm going to go to that, but its nice to have an as option
so back to the main story
today after class, i decided to jam out to piano. it was really nice since i hadn't done it in a while. go alicia keys! i played diary, if i ain't got you, dragon days, fallin', never felt this way, and harlem's nocturne. i also worked on my mariah stuff a little too since i have to keep my fingers prepped for the big event at texas revue. after that i went to eat lunch. fauz and christine said they were eating at cypress bend so i decided to join them. it was fun. sad part though, fauz is going back to houston for the weekend. we will miss you!
after that i went back to my room. i had two options; either i was going to read and get a head start on my work, or i was going to relax. i decided to go for the R&R route and picked movie out my list of must see movies. thank you dc++ for helping me with all the movies that i had wanted to see, but missed. within the last week i watched american beauty, garden state, and the grudge. those movies were all really good except the grudge wasn't that scary at all. today's choice was going to be cruel intentions.
so i start watching the movie. such a good movie by the way! ryan phillipe really grows on u, sarah michelle gellar does such a good job as a bitch, and resse just rocked that movie. go you for holding out for true love! but yea okay, so i'm rolled up in my comforter watching the movie on my bed and my roomie wei and his friend chris walk in. chris utters an uh oh, and i'm like i'm watching a movie i swear its NOT porn. haha that was amusing in itself. and chris starts recognizing the movie since hes seen bits and pieces of it.
then wei asks me the most random question ever. "george, do you happen to have any scooby doo wrapping paper?" and i'm kinda like wtf. uh no? do u think i would have scooby doo wrapping paper? and then i asked him if he needed to wrap anything? and hes like no, its just i found this package near my computer and its wrapped in scooby doo paper.
then wei hands me a box that is in an urban outfitters bag. i pull out the box, and its wrapped in the cutest scooby doo wrapping paper ever. and there is a pen in the bag too.
it seemed so mysterious. i mean where did this mysterious package come from, and why was it sitting near his computer? and why did he just find it yesterday? and what in the hell was that pen doing in the bag?
so i decided to open it, since it wasn't addressed to anyone. i did it really carefully with my swiss army knife and all. i pulled out the box and it said macys. i was like hmm i dont think this is for me or you. maybe it was left behind at the party. then i opened the box. inside it were some nice ass silk playboy pajama pants. i started cracking up as well as chris and wei. the pants were so awesome, they had little playboy bunnies in cards
wei was like yea um i think we need to do some CSIing on that bag to figure out how it got there. we did just have a party on friday, but it didn't make sense for him not to find it until now. i seriously thought someone snuck in our room and put that there. so then i started asking him if anyone else has been in the room since the bag was on his side. he was like no, and if they did i knew what they came in with. it seemed like such a mystery, since i remember the other birthday people, kristin and andrea, sitting on my bed and not near his side
so i decided to call kristin and tell her. she started like cracking up in disbelief. i was like um do u think it is a gift for you or andrea? and shes like, i dont think so, i dunno who would give that to me. we decided we would start calling other people at the party to figure out who's it was.
then i called connie. connie started cracking up and shes like, thats your gift from qian qian silly. haha and i was like ohhhh. aww thanks qq! and then the mystery was finally solved
i called k back to tell her and she was amused. i confused her too since i repeated what connie said "they are for you" and k thought qq randomly got them for her. we straightened it out and thats the end of the story
