Katsucon is finally here. After months of months of hype (for some of the worst reasons), it's finally here for better or for worse. I have laughed, criinged and overall have seen a great chunk of the tension that is getting ready to explode at this convention.
And you know what...
I'm going to have fun. I have far too much planned this weekend to let some poorly ran masquerade, and some peddily drama with an annoying little girl ruin my time. I have a panel that I am going to be speaker on. I have a "Stud Party" to run after the Masquerade. I have loads of gatherings, people to see, videogames to play, and women to flirt with. And I plan to do that all this weekend. It's better than letting her ruin your time.
Speaking of Lori....Guys....If you don't like her, just ignore her. The way I see it....she's like Dracula or the Psycho negative slime from Ghostbusters 2. She feeds off of the drama, and the people talking about her. If you cut her off from that, she becomes powerless, and is much less annoying than when you pay her mind. Now I know there are people on my FL that are still her friends. But my opinion from what I've seen of her is less than favorable, so I ignore her existance whenever possible.
At end of the day. While I may not have high hopes for the con iself, i do have high hopes for my weekend, and I plan to have a good majority of those hopes fulfilled.
For now, today is travel day...so be safe everyone, and I'll see you at the convention.
