Life

I have a question to ask anyone who feels they may have an answer. Bad things happen in life, and no matter how cautious we are we can't prevent these things from happening. The true test of a person is then how they handle these bad situations once they've happened. For example, the worst thing that I felt could happen to me has happened, I lost the person who I love more than anything else in this world. There is nothing I can do to change that no matter how much I want to, so now the test is how I handle this situation. I could easily let this destroy me and the rest of my life with bitterness, anger, and hatred, but I don't want to be one of those people. There was someone very special to me who once told me that I was the person who was mostly likely to be happy no matter what happens in my life. That was the best compliment that I have ever received, and I want to live up to it. My question to everyone is what is your advice for taking something bad and changing it into something positive in your life?
