That graphic! I refuse to believe that isn't how things went down. M is Peggy Carter. That's canon. CANON. *nods*

And ooh! Star Trek Rebbot: McCoy/Chapel

I know! Utter, utter perfection.

I love everything about McCoy/Chapel. It just exploded from nowhere. Snark + coolness. The fact that we know so little about Christine that she can be anything we want her to be. It's such a classic pairing of the doctor and nurse (who also has a PhD \o/) and harks back to my romance reading days but it is also IN SPACE! Anything could happen.

I'm not too fussy about costumes either but I think Superman looks kinda evil in that picture. Like when I'm reading a graphic novel and think they've drawn Superman kinda scary and severe in this one. Henry Caville is good looking though so I think he'll look better as Clark Kent and actually moving about than he does in a picture.

I know what you mean although I think a lot of the evil vibe is enhanced by the lighting and dark shadows, which doesn't really say Superman at all. It would look much better if it was saturated. He does look appropriately powerful.

Yeah the lighting and the dark shadows don't help.

SO GLAD you're loving Avatar. It only gets better!

Wendy Watson / Lacey Thornfield, please.

Yay! I'd heard what everyone said about it but I couldn't beleive that it was actually that good!

Ooh! Wendy and Lacey are such amazing best friends, in fact it is one of my all time favourite tv female friendships. I love the fact that they know everything about each other and know exactly how to push the other's buttons but they will also do anything for the other. The Flying Fish Zombiefication episode with the Art Crawl \o was the moment where I went, OK this BFF thing is awesome but they should be together forever and it was probably my first non canon femslash pairing ever. But then it is pretty much canon.

Thank you for the links! Ohhh, I miss my gigantic box of Crayola crayons. What couldn't they solve??

I also liked reading about all the action librarians. Go us!

I remember my utter glee when I discovered that the jumbo box that seemed to have ALL THE COLOURS wasn't the whole story and there were even more with amazing names out there to find.

The action librarians link was especially for you! I was surprised that I had only heard of half of them.

Bruce/Clark and Bruce/Diana. Or Bruce/Clark/Diana. :D

I love Bruce/Diana. It was my gateway DC ship. I'd been looking for Batman fic after watching Batman Begins and the most enjoyable stories I found were all Bruce/Diana, mostly from the Justice League cartoons. I love the way that they are so different and that Diana is one of the very few people who will truly challenge Bruce. I'm not entirely sure that it works in the comics world because I can't see Bruce losening up that much and Diana doesn't really fit in Gotham, she cares too much about the rest of the world. eta I think Bruce goes for the bad girls because he can't commit and he doesn't have to give up any of his dedication to his mission. That wouldn't work with Diana so I can't see them ever getting anywhere. /etaIt took me a very long time to warm up to Bruce/Clark, despite the large volume of evidence for it (i.e. the entirety of the Superman/Batman series) because I am ridiculously OTP about Clark/Lois and anything that potentially interferes with that is just plain wrong. I don't mind Bruce/Clark so much if it takes place ( ... )
