Hey, look everyone! I found myself!!!
Yep, I got lost and had to go looking for myself. Took me awhile though... I'm really good at hide 'n go seek. *giggles*
Thousands of things have happened. I'll start with the suckiest first.
My last knee surgery didn't work. Blah. Sooo, my doc wants to operate again. I went for a second opinion and the second opinion was the same as the first opinion so I get the fun and joy of going through the pain and suffering and possibly deadly consequences of a 3rd surgery in a year. *I don't think there is a smiley that covers the look on my face at this moment* Oh and this surgery is a doozy. They have to pull my patella (kneecap) down and over. Since the tendon that pulls one's patella down is attached to the tibia (lower leg bone)you can't just cut it and reattach it somewhere else. Bone doesn't do the reattach thing very well *visions of stapling a rubber band to a tree pass through my head* so the surgeon will have to CUT my bone around the tendon, move it down and over, and then SCREW it back to my tibia! *runs in circles whining that this is gonna HURT* Major major major surgery. I'll be out of work 4-6 weeks!!!! *whimper* Add to this that my last surgery resulted in DVT (major blood clot that can kill you) and that I don't work well with anesthesia and the meds that I'm on... this is not gonna be purty. It'll take 6 months to a year to heal. K, I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia... they are gonna have a field day with a screw in my leg. But the true evil-
I don't have Internet at my house cause my computer is dead!!!!!
What can I do??? I'm gonna miss soooooo much by not being connected. *sigh* All the fics will be updated, all the adventures chronicled, all the pics submitted *hitch in my chest* and I won't know!!! *whaaa! collapses into a senseless blubbering ball*

My best friend called me a couple of nights ago and I'm gonna be an auntie again!!! YAY!!!! I'm so happy for her. Her husband is in the Army and is stationed in Italy. She's having a blast and sending me photos! My fav is one of her 5 year old girl wearing her dad's beret. My little munchkin is growing up and I'm gonna miss so much since I am approximately 6500 miles away and can't swim all that well. But still, it's great to have such good news from the front.

And, of course, while all this is happening, I still have to unpack boxes cause I haven't really had time to set everything back up. I'm very happy that I moved to a better place but I still hate moving cause after you pack and move you then have to unpack. My life is so confusing right now. And it doesn't help that I got satellite and BBC America is one of my channels. Monty Python's Flying Circus rocks!
