Mr Fenwick,
I am writing to you on behalf of the Spanish consulate to the United Kingdom and its head, the Spanish Ambassador, Alfonso Rivera, in regards to the libelous and defamatory claims made against the great nation of Spain and its Council. These fairytales have no basis in truth and no place in a newspaper as fine as The Daily Prophet. We demand a retraction of the claims of abuses, intimidation and murder made in Mr Zanetti's editorial, and that a formal apology be issued as soon as possible in order to restore the tarnish this fable has given Spain's good name abroad.
Enclosed is a joint statement, from Ambassador Rivera and Maximiano Soto, the current head of the Council of Fifty-One. We suggest that this be published alongside the expected apology.
