Blackout in China
A ponderance.... earlier today a client at work rang to report that none of their users in China could access the website that we run for them.
Straight away alarm bells started ringing about internet censorship in China... but for multiple users across multiple companies across an entire country not being able to get to our website.
Seems like later today the BBC was reporting that China has increased it's security.
I'm pondering if we received one of the first reports of websites becoming unavailable for view in China simply because it was a non-chinese website.... for reference this is a site used to log ethical trading practices for people supplying high-powered supermarkets.
