A silent alarm went off inside Blues' PET, instantly bringing him out of sleep mode. Blues looked out the window into the real world, but the view was mostly blocked by a slightly pinkish something that was pressed up against the screen.

Enzan-sama's face, he guessed.

"Enzan-sama," he said out loud. "It is time to wake up."

A soft mumbling as Enzan slowly began to wake up. He pulled away and moved off of the PET.

"Morning." For a moment, Enzan just laid on his back, trying to take in his surroundings and adjust to the light.

He turned his head and reached for the PET, tilting it up to look at Blues better.

"How are you doing?"

Blues hesitated for the briefest of moments before answering, "Well enough." The truth was, of course, that he still could not substantiate, an inability that made what passed for a heart in his digital body ache. "I am sure Dr. Hikari will be able to help with the rest."

Well, he hoped so, anyway. He wasn't really as sure as he was pretending to be. With all the things that had gone wrong of late, he had to wonder when things would start going right.

"Yeah." Enzan sighed softly, a frown coming to his face.

For a moment he didn't say anything, or move really. But he was having trouble looking at the screen.

"I can say the same." He flashed a weak smile and pulled himself out of bed. The PET came with him, of course, and was set up on a dresser while Enzan changed into some clothes for work.

It felt odd not to have to go through his own morning routine of getting dressed and eating breakfast. Blues stubbornly forced himself not to dwell on that, though, and concentrated on just enjoying the bits conversation he and Enzan had as Enzan prepared for work. Soon enough, they would be somewhere that Blues would be able to do things.

When they arrived at SciLabs, though, Dr. Hikari was waiting for them. "Enzan. Blues," he greeted them. "How are you this morning?"
