TT Weekend
Wow! What a great weekend.
Met up with the very tanned, fit and lovely tweedle_, (poor lisabellex wasn’t well and couldn’t make it) then went on to join aliensouldream, gabi_fics, frodosweetstuff and gini_baggins at Covent Garden. It was like meeting up with old friends even though we hadn't met before.
Went to China town for early dinner where we were joined by two wonderful looking guys called Frodo and Sam and their identical twin brothers Elijah and Sean. (I'm sure we were getting looks of envy from the waiters- they were certainly eyeing us in a very strange way!). Hopefully photographic evidence will be posted soon, courtesy of frodosweetstuff .
Concert was excellent and Howard Shore made an appearance at the end. Last year he did a talk before the film and was walking among the audience during the break (albeit oblivious of the masses around him), but this time he just kept to the aftershow signings.
tweedle_, aliensouldream, gabi_fics and myself skipped the autographs and went to the pub instead where much chatting and Lijahloving went on into the early hours causing us all to miss the last tubes back to the hotels.
Saturday (slightly hungover) we met up with bluetears07, babydracky and friend as well as other LJers. Hi guys.
The weather was so good we had a picnic in the park, and after dinner spent the evening at a pub in Soho, sitting outside watching the World go by. How rare is that, in the UK, in the middle of April? And we never stopped chatting. Unfortunately our hot young male friends from the day before were unable to join us, though apparently were spotted later that night at the Royal Albert Hall in the company of frodosweetstuff and gini_baggins.
Anyway. Had an amazing weekend and the best company I could ever wish for. Thanks girls for putting up with me - here's to next time.
