Should I Believe In Signs?
I just looked out my bedroom window and spotted a bald eagle. Yes, I'm watching a bald eagle circle over B'ham. This is the second one I've seen in a week! I don't know why that excites me so much. I mean, I saw them daily when I was in Juneau, but... But this is not Juneau, and bald eagles aren't as common as pigeons in B'ham. I want to stand up and LIVE now! Thank you!

Happy thought: It's amazing. I wasn't this happy just a few minutes ago. I was down and discouraged and fighting myself to move on with tasks that seemed odious. Just the sight of that noble raptor has changed my entire outlook. That such a simple thing can make me so happy is... No words. Simply no words.
