Sleepless Night
Well in an act of utter foolishness I had a small glass of Mountain Dew...just before I went to bed. Of course this was preceeded by about four hours of coloring this pic:

Not sure I like the overall result. Last night it looked great, this morning, I can see some flaws that are definitely not the scanners fault but things I did myself. Doubtful anyone will look at it any way...
So I laid awake most of the night, just listening to the rain fall against the window loudly and sort of fell asleep here and there. Not to self never drink Mountain Dew again...ever especially at 1 am in the morning.
On the subject of the above artwork. I like it, there are some techniques I figured out that I will be using again and there are some others that well shall never see the light of day again. I am feeling kinda meh about my artwork in the fandom too. Not sure exactly what it is but I think I am approaching that period of just not caring any more. There's so much more to my life. I like drawing my werewolves, coloring, doing the digital art, but the overall goals for that art are...well...missing.
What do I want from my art? Just to be happy with something I create really and thus far that hasn't happened. I have yet to create something I am truly happy with with maybe one or two exceptions. Anyway enough of my rambles back to work time. :)
In a random momment....I got an IM asking me to create a photomorph.....WHERE THE HECK DO YOU SEE PHOTOMORPHS IN MY GALLERY?!? See see, I draw, I draw traditional ART! Color pencil, digital, paintings, NOT PHOTOMORPHS! :) *bangs head against the internet* And of course wouldn't you know....he wants this done for free. So apparently I am good, at stuff I have never done and apparently so good, I can do things for free for complete strangers....Did I wake up in Bizzarro World? Is this what drinking Mountain Dew does to you? Please God in heaven I will further abstain from my caffine carbotated drink obessession and I have learned the error of my ways! *starts praying*
