Reaction
I was rather cranky earlier and just super-tired, even after watching Once Upon a Time, but I read a few fics that perked me right up.
Recommendations:
Ten and the Beakstalk Sort Of by who_in_whoville - Yes, admittedly, this is the one that got me back in a good mood. But only because it was the first one I read! :P Crack!fic.
Temptation by xsilverxlightx - Oh. My. Gosh. THIS was absolutely gorgeous! It uses a lot of challenge 88's picture prompts so well too!
At Arm's Length by fannishliss - Excellent interpretation of a certain scene in 'Dalek'; very bittersweet.
OUaT:
Snow White and Prince Charming's beginning was revealed. So good! Snow almost got her heart cut out! Charming (his name is James, but Snow actually nicknamed him Prince Charming when he caught her after she stole his jewels!) saved her, even though she pushed him into the river. Emma is just like her mother was.
So Prince Charming (in Storybrook) woke up from his coma! He headed to the forest because he was looking for someone. He doesn't remember anything. HE HAS A WIFE!!! What~?! Well, he was engaged when he first met Snow, but obviously that was done and over with since he ends up marrying Snow. Poor Mary/Snow looks so sad~ even though she doesn't know he really is her true love. She was just so excited when he grabbed her hand after she read to him and then when they found him and he stayed awake.
Henry is so insistent it's adorable, but at the same time I want to say, "Slow down kid!"
I really, really love seeing tidbits of everyone's life before they came to live the lives they've been living.
