the last unicorn
for those of you that know the 80's cartoon film The Last Unicorn.
I just adore that film, has a special place in my heart.
It seems it is being remade into a what seems to be live action.
some of the cast are back playing the same parts.
like christopher lee as king hagard, angela lansbury and as Mommy Fortuna. mia farrow no longer as the unicorn but plays molly grue, Rene Auberjonois plays Capt. Cully/Voice of The Skull, he was always the skull. of cause as it in pre poduction they could be changing it again.
I watched this as a youngster and when I found out it was on DVD rushed out to buy it.
it has always been with me, the music performed by America is haunting, and as I watched it again today, I have been humming it all day long.
the film just pulls at my heartstrings.
I found out about the new one by accident this morning whilst looking at trailers.
when I saw 2006 last unicorn, I thought it was strange seeing it came out in the 80's and low and behold it had some of the original actors listed as it didnt have voice in brackets i am led to believe it is live action, but we shall see.
