[Semi-closed] Reunion
Summary: Elizabeth finds a familiar face.

The giant pillar with its silvery threads had beckoned her, but for the moment, Elizabeth was resisting. This was all too new, and too strange. If nothing else, Elizabeth had always tried her best to try and think things through, without making a decision in haste. While she knew next to nothing about this place, she had a feeling that this strange core was something extremely powerful. She did not wish to approach it without some form of a battle plan.
But what was she supposed to do? Here she was with no army, no advisers, no royal court, no escorts, when she was rather used to being drowned in these sorts of people. In some ways, it was a relief, but in others, she yearned for a familiar face. Or even just someone who could explain what exactly was going on.
She sighed and leaned against the wall, looking down at her hand bandaged in Latika's scarf. This place was not entirely unfriendly, she had learned that much, but she still was wary of what would happen when she met those who might not be so kind. Hearing footsteps, she tensed up, wondering if she might be about to encounter such a foe. She peeked from around the corner, and instead spied a rather familiar face, though older than she remembered him, and strangely dressed. But still familiar none the less.
"....Sir Arthur?"
