(no subject)
So I went to see Corpse Bride yesterday. I even got all dressed up for the occasion in my "Lily-does-goth" outfit that I bought to freak out Katie M. and Hypaitia last year. It was good fun. I loved the movie and I got Starbursts. All in all, a joyous day. Plus, omg, Johnny Depp as shy, awkward, piano-playing boy: So. Fucking. Adorable. I'm starting to wonder when I became such a big Tim Burton fan. I think it was somewhere between Nightmare Before Christmas and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Or it could just be after I started hanging out with my two goth friends at acting. Whatever. It's good stuff regardless.
And I finally know what parts I have in the play! And, now I know this will come as a shock to you all, but I speak in paragraphs. (Yes, again.) Who'd've ever thought? ;-) Seriously, though, I actually really love my parts. I get to play this slightly batty old community theatre lady who thinks she knows everything about theatre and is gleefully informing the audience all about it in an intensely amusing fashion. And after that, I play a glamorous actress. In an evening gown. So excited. Oh my God. *squee*
