(no subject)
So I get an A in Chem for the semester, and just as I'm finishing my rejoicing, I get a C on the first test of the second semester. *sigh* That's just Chem for you, isn't it? I took the retake version of the test today at lunch, though, and I think I got at least a B on it. *prays* It was hard to concentrate because there was this horrible grunge band playing in the quad today. Honesly, how does anyone call that wordless, throaty screaming music? It drowns out all thought! When I first heard it, I thought someone was watching a horror movie in the next room or something. It sounded like the bad sound effects in the old B monster movies people went to see at drive-ins in the 50's. [/rant]
Katie A. keeps bugging me to ask someone to Sadie Hawkins, but the guy I like has a girlfriend (as far as I know), and I don't like anyone else. I assume I shall cave to peer pressure eventually, but honestly, I wish we could just all go stag. It'd be a hell of a lot less stressful.
I really should learn not to volunteer for things. I volunteered in World History because no one else would, and I ended up with a project that is way harder than everyone else's. But I do get to be Britain in the imperialism exercise later and "conquer" a bunch of other "countries." So it's really almost worth it. Almost.
God, why am I this tired? It's only 9:30...!
