Katy's probably going to go to Livermore High next year!!!!!!!!! *weeps for joy*
Right. Now that that's done with... I went to see "Charlie Brown Christmas" at DTC today. It was sooo good! I couldn't believe how talented everybody was! And the best news of all? Stevie Rae the Diva didn't make the "Best of.." cast and Katy did. So ha, Stevie Rae. Maybe this will finally take her down a peg or two. I mean she's a pretty good actor, but she's so full of herself that it's quite literally painful sometimes.
Katie and Hypaitia and I went to go see "Ocean's Twelve" today, as well. (This has been quite the day for having a social life actually. Figured I might as well get it all out at once... ;-) It was funny at times, and the acting was really good (obviously), but I really wish I had seen "Ocean's Eleven" first, because I lost track of the plot of this one. And, of course, that sort of ruined the film for me. So I thought it was just all right. (Though the bit with Julia Roberts was just... priceless. Not to give anything away here...)
I'm semi-upset with Mum because she won't take me to go see "Kinsey," though. Of course, by now it's stopped playing here, so it's kind of a moot point, but still, it's the principle of the thing! I've been working on her for a while now, though, and I'll probably be allowed to watch it on video. So that's good.
I saw Will and Kellie and Alandra and Taylor today at "Charlie Brown," which is always nice. I didn't get to talk to any of them for very long (well, except Will since he was running tech), but it was nice to see them again. Will is in some play there called "Assassins," and he wanted me to try out for it (auditions are all this weekend apparently), but I couldn't because I would have to come up with a monologue and two songs in a day, which is just... not happening. Besides, with my insane homework schedule this year and rehearsals for "Fahrenheit" going on at the same time as rehearsals for "Assassins," I'd... spontaneously combust from stress. Will said that everyone who was invited to try out for YAPTC later this year was supposed to have recieved an email about auditions, but I never got one. He said that he thought a lot of people didn't get the email, because only he and Emily Hagins are in it (besides the people in YAE who already knew about it). So I felt sort of bad about not doing it, but, God, I do need to sleep sometimes, you know? ;-)
Oh, and if you're wondering about the mood, it's just because I felt like I had so many friends today! What with Katie and Hypaitia and then all my DTC friends (of which there were many tonight), I'm feeling overwhelmed with love! Which makes me so happy, because I've been feeling very lonely lately... :-)
theatre,
friends
