Confusion never stops/Closing walls and ticking clocks...

I found a really cool song the other day: "Clocks" by Coldplay. If you haven't heard it yet, go listen to it. Now. The background music is really pretty in a semi-haunting way, and the lyrics are depressing yet cool (think Evanescence on a slightly less suicidal note). Now I have a whole new genre of music I love: Britpop! :-)

We had Hat Day in French today (Okay, it was technically called La Fete de Sainte Catherine or something like that, but whatever), and it was actually kind of fun. Of course, it would have been considerably more fun if we didn't have to take a unit test today, too, but that's life. Anyway, Katy let me borrow her hat when we all went to Rachael's house to see "Meet Joe Black" Friday night, so I wore that. It actually makes me look older. I shall have to buy one at The Icing the next time I'm at the mall.

Ugh, I had three classes today, and three huge tests! I don't think I did well on any of them, to be completely honest. The only reason I passed the Chem test was because Hallenbeck forgot to fold over the poster on the wall that listed all of the polyatomic ions and their charges. For whatever reason, my brain refuses to retain those things. And I didn't know anything about Lenin or Stalin, it turns out. I thought I knew all that stuff pretty well, too. *shrugs* Maybe I did better than I think I did...? Hopefully...?

So many people want my advice right now, and I'm not sure what to tell them all anymore. Hell, I don't even have my own life figured out! (And I'm the worst advice giver in the world, as I'm completely unperceptive...) I think I've started to get it all under control now, though... You know, you'd think I'd be glad DTC's over for now, because that was just one more thing I was trying to do that could be stress-inducing, but I miss it. I was sort of using it to destress, I think, and it's rough now that that's not an option... But Katie J. and Melody and Will and... a whole bunch of other people are all doing "Fahrenheit 451," so I have something to look forward to!

I haven't had any time or energy to write fanfiction in sooo long... I shall have to dig out that old Sparrington fic I started a while back. Maybe I'll have time this weekend to... Wait. No. Hallenbeck. Chem homework. *sigh*
