Another lesson
In two ways.
1. Had another singing lesson in which I sang much better, mostly because I'm learning to breathe and support properly without thinking about it too much, so I can concentrate on other things like vowel sounds (which I'm not generally brilliant at). I have a new song to learn - it's from The Witches of Eastwick, and it's called Loose Ends. It's difficult because there are some strange unexpected notes in it, but it's kind of fun.
I'm definitely enjoying the singing stuff, and intending to work hard on the exercises so I can sound better. And I'm working on music theory too.
2. I learned that doing all your Christmas shopping early is a good thing. Every year I say I'm going to have it all done at least 2 weeks before but every year I leave it until the last few days. I have most of my presents now though, and I'll probably be finished tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
