3 months

So, it's been 3 months or so since I moved to Washington. It's pretty nice here, lots of places to go. I love being able to drive all over the place and never see the same exact thing each time. I loved living in Hawaii, but it was an island, only so many places to go. Plus, the town I am living in now has so much stuff. I looked up statistics and where I am living now has around 24,000 less people than Hilo had (A little over 19,000 as opposed to Hilo's 43,000), but it seems to have a lot more stuff. It's got a Barnes and Noble *dies*. The Borders in Hilo was pretty bad and it closed down years ago. Barnes and Noble is just.... it makes me happy. All the towns I've been to since I've been here have cool stuff, even the small ones. Tacoma is huge, and I've only really been to Seattle once (not counting the airport). But Seattle... oh, I will go again. When I have the money to blow, and the time to spare.

Also, some of the towns here are pretty old and they have these cool buildings to show for it. These old-style, awesome looking buildings.

Anyways... It's just a different brand of fun. Hawaii was nice. Hilo was relaxed and fun and a great place to grow up and go to school and college. Washington is nice, too, a place to get a job and still have fun when I want to. There are also some nice colleges here to, if I decide i want to go back to school. The real thing I miss from Hawaii? My friends. Of everything I left, my friends are the ones that matter and who I will miss. Still, I'm in contact with them... just not the same, though.

Still, here is where I need to be for now. And that's not a bad thing. I will probably visit Hilo again. In fact, unless something drastic happens, I know I will.
