So close
So, I am almost done with school. Next Wednesday is my last day, and then that Friday is the day I leave for Washington. It's just.... so close. I am graduating and moving and it's all just around the corner. Right now I am sitting in the rental, since the house is being closed up and the electricity and everything is off. I am living out a suitcase. But, it's okay... because it means I am moving forward.
Still, I was walking through the house Tuesday, before leaving for our rental, so I could make sure I had everything. It was sad... everything was pretty much gone and packed into the container. Here is this house I have lived in for 9 years, and it was such as shock to see it so empty. I mean, I'm excited to be moving, but this house was my house for about half of my life. I moved to Hawaii when I was 12, and here I am moving (again) just 9 years later, right before my 21st birthday.
It's all so exciting, but a little bit sad. I am moving on to a new future, but here I am leaving behind this place I and my family lived for so long. I just hope my family and I can find what we are looking for over there - a new adventure, and jobs. Let's see what we can accomplish on this new journey.
