It'll be April on friday. This is completely ridiculous... time speeds, bugs are coming out... winter is over. *gasp* ...Nothing really interesting has been happening. Oh except I killed a woman.
... I guess saying "pardon me please" isn't efficient enough when there are senior citizens are on the bicycling trail, walking. I probably should've yelled it, to ensure they heard... -As I went around this group an older woman jumped and screamed when she saw me. man, I'm scaaaaaary
Obviously she didn't hear or see (it was getting dark, and there's not much lighting) me coming (or me excusing myself) and I scared the hell out of her. She clutched her heart and started gasping. I left skid marks from stopping and threw down my bike (something I don't do... if you saw the love I have for it). The group laid her down and I rambled off apologizes, tried to use my phone to call an ambulance or something... but the gentleman with her said they'll just take her to the hospital and she's probably fine.
I helped them get her back (while she's sweating and clutching) to their SUV (this part of the trail was near the woods). Her entire group was completely calm and fine with it. Then apologized to me (for having to "deal" with all of it, and having to leave my bike unattended- but, er I was slightly more concerned with the life of their friend) as well as thanked me. *blink*
